Frequently asked questions
What is Flora Organic Dunlop Latex Mattress made of and how does that affect everyday use?
The Flora Organic Dunlop Latex Mattress uses 100% GOLS-certified organic Dunlop latex in its four-layer construction, with an organic cotton cover and wool filling. This combination provides responsive support, natural temperature regulation, and a breathable feel that can adapt to different sleep positions and body types.
Who would benefit most from this mattress and who might prefer another option?
It's suited for sleepers who want customizable firmness with a balanced top-to-base feel and good pressure relief, including combination sleepers. If you prefer a very soft or very firm single feel rather than adjustable layers, this mattress might feel less tailored to you.
How is the Flora different from a standard latex mattress?
It features four separate latex layers with independently wrapped layers to reduce friction and movement, plus dual-firmness customization on queen and king sizes, allowing individual sides to have different firmness levels.
How do I optimize setup and use for the first time?
Place the mattress on a supportive base or adjustable foundation. If you choose queen or king, select your preferred firmness on each side to tailor comfort for you and a partner, and ensure the cover with wool is properly in place for temperature regulation.
What care or maintenance does this mattress need to stay fresh?
Keep the organic cotton cover clean and allow the wool filling to aid breathability. There are no special cleaning instructions beyond standard care for a latex mattress; avoid soaking and use proper support to maintain longevity.
The Flora 10" mattress is built with four certified organic Dunlop latex layers, offering enhanced customization for different body types and sleep preferences. Its layered design includes a firm base, two flexible middle layers, and a soft top to help minimize surface pressure points, all encased in a luxurious organic cotton cover with wool filling for natural temperature regulation and flame retardancy.
Each latex layer is independently wrapped to reduce friction and movement, and the mattress is suitable for all sleeping positions and body types. Queen and king sizes can be customized for dual firmness on each side, and the bed works well with adjustable bases. Optional hardwood foundations in matching organic materials are available for additional support.
